Denise, who has served as a Glastonbury councillor since 2011, was elected unanimously by her fellow town councillors at the first meeting of Glastonbury Town Council since the Greens won nine of the council’s 16 seats on 2nd May!

Fellow long-standing Green councillor, Jon Cousins, was elected Deputy Mayor – repeating the dynamic Green duo’s Mayoral roles of 2015-16, when Denise became Glastonbury’s first Green Mayor.
